One relaxed Saturday morning to explore the alignments and the transitions between the poses, with the traditional vinyasas counting, the magic of pranayama (expansion of vital energy) and guided deep relaxation.
In the Ashtanga Yoga method it is recommended that you practice six days a week. Traditionally it is taught in a “Mysore Style” context. In this method, the teacher will invite to follow your own breath and movement, gradually learn the poses. Memorizing the poses allows students to focus internally, which is the real goal of yoga, and to avoid being externally stimulated. It is the ancient, safest and best way to learn. This method allows you to observe, accept and work in accordance with the natural daily variations of the body and mind, training you to listen to the body, to have the capacity of adapting, increasing inner body and mind awareness, guiding you through a real self-knowledge journey.
